LG Gem & Mineral Club

Second Tuesday: Nov. 10
The Lake George Gem & Mineral Club Junior Program will have a presentation by Steve Veatch about Colorado's Ice Age.  We will look at animals of the Ice Age and talk about the Clovis people who swept across Colorado and North America.   Fluorite will be the study specimen for the month.  The meeting will start at 7:30PM on Tuesday Nov. 10, please try to arrive a few minutes early.
The meeting is at the Lake George Community Center on US 24 just east of the Ferrell Gas Propane facility.
For questions call John Rakowski 719-748-3861 or Steve Veatch 719-748-5010 or see the website at: LGGMClub.org.

Fall Costume Party TODAY!

Please do come have fun and bring your student(s)/siblings.
This Party is for all Elementary students in Cottage/Online.

Bring:
Snack Food for as many as you want. There may be up to 32 kids plus parents and siblings, but because everyone brings something, it is not totally necessary to have one for every child. We all contribute to the buffet of snacks.
(I'll supply apple juice mixed with 7up and dry ice, cups, plates, napkins)

If you have ideas for an activity or decorations, contact me ahead of time.
