WPSD On-Line Program (Gr. K-12): provides a full curriculum for homeschooling children at no cost. In addition we provide a voucher for a home computer and monthly internet access as well as teacher support as needed.

We offer online school, cottage school, and enrichment classes.
Our online programs are for families that have home schooled, have had experience with online schooling, have other unique circumstances requiring the online curriculum, and generally live in the Teller County area or Pikes Peak Region. We offer Lincoln Interactive curriculum for students in 5th-12th and Little Lincoln for students in K-4th. All programs require that a parent/guardian teaches their student with the help of a managing teacher (me) and online subject area teachers. Enrollment for the school year must occur before September 15th of the school year. There is no availability for online programs, financially, after October 1st. Any time after that, the parent may purchase the programs, but this is unusual because of the expense.

Cottage school is available in the Gateway Elementary School for grades k-5th. This program offers Art, Music, P.E., Library, Computers, Technology, Science experiments, Spanish, social opportunities, and public speaking on two afternoons per week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for k-2nd and Thursdays and Fridays for 3rd-5th. There is some flexibility with the 2nd and 3rd grade levels to suit family's schedules or student needs. Entering this program is free and preferred before October 1st, but students may enter later if space is available. There is a minimal fee of $25 to register after Oct. 1st . This program is to go along with the basic academics being taught at home which may or may not be using our online program.
Enrichment classes, academic classes, electives, sports, activity, and social opportunities, are available at Woodland Park Middle School and Woodland Park High School in a variety of subjects to go along with the basic academics being taught at home which may or may not be using our online programs.
Enrollment with our programs require that the student participate in all state mandatory testing on a regular basis. Dibels tests usually only take approximately 15 minutes and are administered by appointment every quarter. BEAR (Basic Early Assessment of Reading) is given K-2nd grade. Writing assessments begin at the 2nd grade level and CSAP/TCAP testing at the 3rd-10th grade levels. These tests are all held in the Woodland Park Schools. K-5 testing held at Gateway Elementary, 6-8 testing is held at Woodland Park Middle School and 9-12 testing is held at the WP High School.
We do provide computer/printer and monthly internet vouchers to the fulltime online families.

If you do not sign up for online through me, you will be accountable to Denver Schools through COVA or to another school district and not through your home school district here in Woodland Park school district, by law in Colorado.
