Lungs and Heart Study-Dissection April 23rd, Thursday @2:15
All students are welcome to attend this Science class
They will be dissecting pig lungs and heart. They may get involved or just watch.
The best tools are the children’s school scissors so all levels can do this safely.
I scheduled this event during the 3rd-5th regular class on Thursday.
It is optional for the younger students, yet, I feel beneficial for all.
In both groups, we have been learning about healthy lungs and body parts.
This is to be a culmination event to ‘bring to life’ the anatomy of the body.
The kids are excited to see the real-life parts that they never see.
It inspires our future doctors and nurses, or just an interest in real science.
